Privacy Policy for WhatsBulk
Last Updated: October 18, 2025
Effective Date: October 18, 2025
WhatsBulk ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our accessibility-focused messaging assistant handles your information.
Key Privacy Principle: WhatsBulk processes all data locally on your device. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share your personal information with any servers or third parties.
1. Information We Access
1.1 AccessibilityService Usage
WhatsBulk uses Android's AccessibilityService API to assist users with motor impairments or other disabilities in sending messages via Apps more easily. Through this service, the app accesses:
- UI Elements: Buttons, text fields, and interface elements within Apps
- Message Content: Only the messages that YOU explicitly provide within the app for sending
- Phone Numbers: Only the contact phone numbers that YOU provide or import
Important: The AccessibilityService ONLY monitors messaging applications you choose. It does NOT access any other apps on your device.
1.2 Local Storage
The following data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage:
- Contact lists (phone numbers you provide)
- Message templates (messages you create)
- App preferences and settings
2. How We Use AccessibilityService
2.1 Purpose
WhatsBulk is designed as an accessibility tool to help users who have:
- Motor impairments that make repetitive messaging difficult
- Conditions that benefit from scheduled message assistance
- Need for simplified messaging workflows
2.2 Functionality
The AccessibilityService performs the following actions on your behalf:
- Opens App's chat conversations
- Locates message input fields
- Pastes your pre-written messages
- Clicks the send button
- Returns to the app after completion
Privacy Protection: All these actions happen locally on your device. The app does NOT transmit this information to any external servers.
3. Data Storage and Processing
3.1 Local Processing Only
WhatsBulk processes all data exclusively on your device:
- Messages: Temporarily held in device memory during sending, NOT stored permanently
- Contacts: Stored locally in AsyncStorage, NOT uploaded to any server
- Data: Accessed in real-time via AccessibilityService, NOT recorded or saved
3.2 No Server Communication
WhatsBulk does NOT:
- Send your messages to our servers
- Upload your contact lists anywhere
- Transmit app conversation data
- Collect analytics or usage statistics
- Track your activity
- Share data with third parties
4. Permissions Explained
4.1 AccessibilityService Permission
Why we need it: To interact with App's interface on your behalf, helping users with disabilities send messages more easily.
How we use it: Only to schedule message sending within Apps as described in Section 2.2.
What we access: The App's UI elements only which you choose to message.
4.2 Other Permissions
- INTERNET: Required by React Native framework (app does NOT make network requests for data collection)
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: To display notifications and overlays
- READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To import contact lists from files (optional, controlled by you)
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To notify you of message sending status
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Messaging Apps
WhatsBulk interacts with Messaging apps installed on your device. We do NOT:
- Share data with messaging apps
- Transmit your messages through App's servers (beyond normal App functionality)
Note: Your messages are sent through App's normal infrastructure, subject to App's own privacy policy and terms of service.
5.2 No Analytics or Tracking
WhatsBulk does NOT use:
- Google Analytics
- Facebook SDK
- Advertising networks
- Crash reporting services
- Any third-party data collection tools
6. Data Security
Since all data remains on your device:
- Data security depends on your device's security (lock screen, encryption, etc.)
- We recommend using device encryption and secure lock methods
- No data transmission means no interception risk
- Uninstalling the app removes all local data
7. Children's Privacy
WhatsBulk is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used our app, please contact us to request data deletion (though no data is collected by our servers).

- Delete: Clear data in app settings or uninstall the app
